Herbal Medicine Houston

Picture
Chinese herbal medicine uses hundreds of different natural herbs and Dr. Yang uses a combination of herbs to help treat your diagnosed symptom. A mixture of these active ingredients have a therapeutic affect on your body that includes improving circulation, digestive enzymes, nervous system relaxants, antimicrobial's, and much more. Depending on your illness, herbal medicine treats many abnormalities in the body and brings your body back to homeostasis.

Western medicine normally identifies a symptom and prescribes a drug that has an isolated active ingredient. Pharmaceutical drugs are usually more potent due to this fact, but is more likely to cause side effects and not fully treat the symptom.

Chinese herbal medicine relies on a combination of the active ingredients in the herbs to deliver a more balanced and safer result.
The sole purpose of this combined effort is to help treat many abnormalities that are ongoing in the body and to solve the root problem of the illness.

Conditions that are treated with Chinese herbal medicine
Chinese herbal medicine is used to help treat all the abnormalities that are ongoing in the body and to promote homeostasis. Chinese herbal medicine treats both acute and chronic illnesses. Traditional Chinese Medicine FAQ

Question 1: What is the difference between traditional Chinese medicine and pharmaceutical drugs?
The main difference is that traditional Chinese medicine is concocted from a variety of natural herbs personally for the patient as opposed to a synthetically created pill from a pharmaceutical company for the general population. There are fewer known side effects as all ingredients are natural supplements.

Question 2: What is it made of?
Traditional Chinese medicine is concocted from a variety of natural herbs and plant extracts that are known to treat and alleviate symptoms of pain and discomfort.

Question 3: What does it taste like?
It depends on the type of herbal medicine that is created. Typically it will taste slightly bitter but many patients have mentioned that the taste has grown on them.

Question 4: How often do I take it?
This is completely dependent on the patient and their specific illness. Typically the average patient may be taking it twice to three times a day. Again, this is variable and Dr. Yang will give detailed descriptions on how often you will need to take the medicine.
